After any applicable free rent promotions have been exhausted and you have rented your storage unit for at least one fully paid month, CubeSmart will plant a native tree in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation™. Since 2010, we've worked with various organizations to plant over 350,000 trees used for reforestation and wildfire rehabilitation.

The Arbor Day Foundation™ has over 50 years of experience in planting trees in the right places for the biggest impact. Using a science-based approach, they identify forests and communities globally that would benefit most from trees.

From May 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026, for every eligible rental, CubeSmart will contribute $1.00 to the Arbor Day Foundation, with a minimum donation of $50,000. The mission of the Arbor Day Foundation is to inspire people to plant, nurture, and celebrate trees. More information about the Arbor Day Foundation is available by mail at 211 N.12th St., Lincoln, NE 68508 or at www.arborday.org. Purchases from CubeSmart will not be tax deductible.

I have been with CubeSmart on Walnut for about a month now and really love the modern interior and historical exterior of the office building. I have a climate controlled unit and it is always a very cool temperature, not a tepid ac like some climate control units I have had in the past. The unit was impeccably clean and there was even a little welcome bag that Chuck the office manager provided. He also responded promptly to my phone call when I needed to push my start date back a week. The contract process only took about ten minutes and the area around the facility is really nice, not sketchy. Overall I am really happy with my decision to use this CubeSmart and the location is in the center of the city, so it’s perfect for me. (Moving from one side of NB to the other.)

The ladies behind the counter were super friendly and helped with all of my questions and even provided a lock for me! At the time they only had one size of 10 x 10 storage units but it happened to be the perfect one I needed! Pictures below. Plus they're right on Walnut Street so it was easy to get into and out of even during peak traffic times. If I ever move again I'm definitely calling them up!

It's unfortunate that I had to utilize this place. I had a family member basically squat at my house for a year. One month when said family member disappeared, I decided to haul all of her junk to the Brauntex facility. I explained to them the situation and informed them I would only pay for one month and would have the family member pay the rest. The lady was very understanding and was always nice when calling to collect for the additional month (we could never get a hold of the family member). Anyway, it's a good place to store other people's junk. I wouldn't put mine there because it's not climate controlled. Employees are very nice.
