We have had a storage unit for a couple of years at the Cedar Park location. They have had an issue with their front (only) gate; it was inoperable for months without repair. Consequently, someone drove into yard and broke into our unit. We had to file separate (my brother and I share the unit) insurance claims each with a respective deductible. They have the perp on camera and the district manager (DM) for StorQuest actually found our lock, which had been cut off, in a different area of the yard. We called this DM to get the information to file a claim but he rudely, abruptly, said he was not going to give us any information and subsequently hung up on me. I have requested multiple times for his boss to contact me but have not heard back from anyone. This is basic; they are culpable for allowing this truck to enter the yard and remove our property on two separate occasions.

I have been with Storquest for over 3 years now, and have had a great experience. The units are older, but clean and well taken care of. Monique Ellis, the store manager, is awesome! Anything I have ever needed or had questions she was there to help. Monique has always had a great attitude and upbeat! I am moving now, and even with that, Monique was as awesome as ever. Had a horrible experience! I spoke to the lady who manages this location yesterday to confirm when I’d be coming to pick up the items from an auction unit today. I arrive, no one was there. Called the number and was told to wait an hour, she may be at lunch. Waited an hour. Called back and was on the phone for 15 minutes until the line was disconnected. The DM nor the storage mngr were no where to be found. I then called again and reached someone else who finally sent an email. I even tried calling the DM 10 times, no answer no response. Finally someone called me from a different location, Leander, so lovely!! She came right over to help us. I can say as action buyer WE WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS LOCATION!

The location is close to home, and the unit pricing is affordable. The only complaint is that the office hours are very limited especially since I work during the times the office is open. But the manager is very helpful and let me take care of paperwork over e-mail and took care of it all in a timely manner.

I rented a unit from here 6 months ago and although it is cheap I am beginning to see why. For starters the facility itself is very dated and and it shows badly. The lady that entered our information into the system calculated the rate incorrectly which I then had to remind her every month to issue a credit so I could pay the correct amount and not be in default. Although she is very pleasant and helpful everytime, it's not something that I should have to do, (it should have been corrected from the start.) Now, 6 months in, the gate code box on the outside of the gate works but the inside box does not, our items are overrun by spiders and spider webs, and they have already increased our rates with less than a 30 day notice!! When I inquired about the sudden increase in rate I was told that all rate information comes from their corporate office.... So you are going to increase the rate whenever you want? And without much notice? Not very cool.

First I would like to say thank you to Great Value Storage and Joyce! I've been with GVS for about 3 years now and anytime I've had a question, concern or need, they have been great to resolve it. Their pricing is great! Staff is wonderful to work with and will be with them for many more years to come! If your looking for storage, GVS is the place to go. I highly recommend them!
