Tips for Jet Ski Storage
The Exterior:
- Clean, wash, and buff to protect the paint.
- Remove any items from the storage compartments.
- Keep storage compartments open slightly – allowing for a slight airflow.
- Add a coat of wax.
The Engine:
- Drain the engine and exhaust system.
- Drain/stabilize the fuel.
- Remove the battery.
- Change the oil and oil filter.
The Exhaust:
- Mix water and RV antifreeze together to help flush the system.
- Remove the battery –ensure that it is stored in a safe place and attach it to a battery tender if possible.
Finally, ensure there is a cover on your Jet Ski to help protect the exterior.
