  • First up – get it nice and clean. No doubt the sun and wet weather have got your ATV nice and muddy. So, as you prepare for winter and storage – wash your ATV.
  • Check and top up any fluid levels – including brake fluid, antifreeze, oil, fuel stabilizer, etc.
  • Decide whether you are storing long-term or short-term and then prepare your battery accordingly. If you plan on short-term access you can ride regularly, make sure it’s fully charged when put into storage. If you are going for long-term storage over the winter, it’s best to take the battery with you and put it on a trickle charger at home.
  • Even if your ATV is being stored inside, we recommend you cover it to ensure it’s protected from dust, dirt, and moisture.
  • Get it off the floor by putting something like plywood under the wheels.
