I love this place !!!!! We got a good time to move because we got our room for 1/2 price and 1st month free.This was great plus they had bathrooms and one was right beside my storage.The desk clerks were very kind. They also have big flat carts to help with the transport back and forth.THANKS !!! It's so CLEAN in here and has heat or air....My things will be living in a better place than me ????

The unit was clean and is climate controlled. It has a dolly that one can use to unload vehicle all at one time. A gentleman that was there was very helpful in getting the green tab off the door for me.

I visited the Lenoir location to inquire about prices and sizes of the units. Mike and Kim were so helpful in answering all of my questions and showing me the different units while telling me about pricing. I ended up not needing a unit but if I actually have to get one I would definitely get one at Cube Smart because of the wonderful customer service that Mike and Kim provided. Also, because I would choose Cube Smart of how clean and nice the location is.

We live in Boone and needed a storage unit asap! We called every option in our area and since Ap State just ended for the summer break, there was not one place with any availability close to us. A web search led us to Cube Smart in Lenoir. We are so glad it did! The reservation process on line was fast and easy. We visited the facility today and I can’t say enough about the entire experience. This new facility is so clean, well maintained, and is easily accessible with convenient load and unload areas and great push carts. The office staff was very nice and helpful. We are glad we ended up driving a few minutes further and having the peace of mind that our belongings are in such a nice and safe facility.

Booking my unit online was great. I got the 1st month free, and everything was great. It said I could switch unit size easily. Not online, though. I had to call them and go by the office to sign some papers. Then, I was told everything had to be out of the old unit by the end of the day. Then I asked about the price which was higher than the online price. I was told that price was for 1st time renters. I had just rented my unit 5 days before I figured out I needed a bigger unit. So now I'm not a new renter. Update. The manager of the Lenoir location called me and explained she had someone filling in for her that was fairly new and wasn't aware I was still considered a new customer. She took care of all my concerns.

First star is for the manager that was there when I first had a unit there he was amazing and would absolutely have received 5* everyday! The second star is for the fact that it was a convenient location and has bathrooms so when I was working on things in my unit I didn't have to leave the facility to go to the bathroom. Me and my friend both disabled got a unit together while I was dealing with an abusive living environment and she was trying to cleanup her home so we were helping each other to go through things, sell stuff, and try to change our environments. The manager at the time was so nice and understanding that we each paid half of the storage unit and there was never any problem... then along came a different manager after that good one quit who didn't care that my friend and I had different schedules or disabilities and couldn't get there at the same time every month in order to pay the bill all at once... he said that was against their policy (to split the bill into more than 1 payment) which is a ridiculous policy you're basically saying we don't want your money if you require two separate payments. The price, was already a bit high but manageable split between me and my friend but then they raised their prices it was nearly doubled and with the rude and hateful new manager we knew we didn't want to be there anymore so we left. Only to discover my inventory of clothing and fabric top crafting table had mildew from their "climate controlled environment" of moisture and one leather jacket at the back of the unit (where the most moisture was) had actual mold on it, all fabric items were literally damp and many ruined. And NOW I discover they are letting people who commit felony theft store their stolen items there which I had to go retrieve Sept. 3 because it was MY property that was stolen and many items damaged yet that tenant is still renting there with no issues. It would be better going back to being a vacant dead mall in my opinion but glad I got to meet that original manager who is now a friend. Other things to note: The motion sensor lights go off rather quickly, you have to walk down sometimes several units to turn back on and placement is rather terrible for seeing much of anything inside your unit. The entry doors were constantly breaking. Not having 24/7 access was also a downside for me and my friend as we required night access.

While it's a great facility, the customer service is very lacking. Our rent was raised $15, but the online price was still lower to rent a unit the same size. We let the manager (she said she was the manager of the office) of the facility know we would be vacating the unit 72 hours in advance, and she was very nice at first. Made sure our payment was taken off our account and let us know to leave the unit door open. She asked if we could let her know before we left that we had vacated. The day comes for us to move out the unit and the entire hour and a half that we were moving...we saw no one in the office. We did everything we were asked except let them know we left because no one was in there. 2 days later, we received a phone call from said manager chastising us like children about not notifying her. My husband informed her that there was no one there to notify, and when she continued... he just hung up. We felt it was very unprofessional.

Our unit was supposed to be climate controlled, but yet the majority of our items had mold on them. Causing us to have to throw a lot of our stuff away. Not to mention, we paid over $340 a month for monthly rate. And heaven forbid if we were late. We were assessed an additional $56 fee. They changed management and team members at least three times when we were in th unit. And near the end of us being there, no one was ever in the office.

The best decision I’ve made during my stressful move. Brandon treated me like family and the people in the office are so kind. The prices are amazing as well; I needed a space for less than a month and was able to get it for a few weeks that didn’t completely fill the month for less than $70. Many things were included in that price which made it very worth it. Also the temperature control is great. Will be recommending this to everyone I know needing some extra space, and will not hesitate to come back.

The process was very easy! I went and looked at a couple of units in person to get a better idea of the sizes. The lady who helped me was very nice and knowledgeable. I booked later online. Everything was ready for me when I got there after hours to start moving in. This facility is really nice, and a great use of the old mall.

The personnel were very helpful and knowledgeable in my need of my temporary storage. My sister had passed away and I was in a tight situation to remove items from her rental house. I was in Pennsylvania at time and was given short notice to take out her remaining things in house (NC). Staff was very cordial and helped me to secure a reservation for unit as i was unable to utilize the web application properly.

The location is convenient, and I am sure it is a secure facility. The employee (Peter) was courteous and informative. The intro deal for the first month is a good value. The subsequent monthly rates for a one bedroom equivalent storage unit is an absolute deal killer. Much too high imo. "Cut the rates in half and then combine those rates with one of a kind intro deals until you get your storage facility occupied" is my advice to management.
