Cockroach infestation that was hidden from me when I first moved in. The cockroaches destroyed my belongings by laying eggs and getting into everything I had stored there. The manager is a creep who hides behind corners listening to tenants conversations and whispers quietly about how he doesn't trust the people he rents to. If you are looking for self storage in the Worcester, Ma area DO NOT GO TO CUBESMART 19 McKeon rd Worcester, MA. Unless of course you would like cockroaches and a creep following you and hiding behind corners.

Strongly recommend to use any other place for storage. Being a loyal customer at cube smart comes with a yearly increase in your storage fee. And the kicker is they never stop charging you more. The longer your with them the more you pay for the same size unit.

They were very helpful and friendly. So glad you can use your state ID. It was definitely easy to transport our belongings to our storage unit. I'm hearing a lot of reviews about people's storage units being broken into. I promise you if I go and check and my storage units been broken into, thats gonna be a huge issue for them.

Don't store your belongings here. No security. I was robbed. Their Insurance company Is a joke. Customer service is the worst I have ever seen. I reported a problem to C.S. because it was before mgr.'s hours. They were never told of the problem, then they lock the restroom because, as I was told someone was using it wash things. If they had listened to me in the first place they would have known someone was living there as I reported. The place is filthy + managers are just there. 0 rating in my 1st storage rental. I was paid for a full year + they gave me a date when the check was mailed. Wrong. Given a date a week later, wrong. Well, the 1st date was 4/11, when I finally received the check it was dated 5/13. This place is the pits!

I have rented from two CubeSmart locations witch including the one on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester and the smaller one which I definitely prefer is on the McKeown Road in Worcester. We enjoy the quiet, clean, less active older building on McKeown.. plus respectable staff is class.

My storage unit was broken into as well as other units in the building. my motorcycle and other very personal belongings had been taken. I got the call on Jan 13th, 2022 . My unit was on the 4th floor level in a "secured building". This must be something that happens frequently since when i went to pick up the keys for the new lock maintenance put on for me, the lady in the office with me said the same thing happened to her a few months ago here. Staff does not care. The regular elevators in the building had all been shut down and not working pretty much since ive had the unit for 1.5 years. So I would have to walk up 4 flights of stairs and or use the freight elevator if it wasn't in use which was very inconvenient especially being pregnant and having asthma.

Lighting is by motion. There are not enough sensors and where my storage unit was located, I was forced to work in the dark, w/flashlights. This is a horrible, unsafe environment for a single disabled woman. The flooring is disintegrating in many places. In several places you can literally see daylight. They are not wood but pressed particle board. You haven't lived til you hit a rut and everything you packed on the very old,hard to push, flatbed goes flying off.

I am one of the numerous customers that has been effected by the monthly auto-deduction fiasco , which does not deduct the monthly payments (though more than sufficient funds are within the accounts, and no information has changed, after years of having this set-up without a problem). I had personally stopped by the office to resolve this matter,, (after believing it had been resolved, when it was not having received an email that day stating that I was now in default and could not access my unit) and Halina Grabowski, whom was most helpful and concerned with resolving this problem immediately. Hopefully it has been resolved. And her concern, patience, and consideration under a stressful situation was most welcomed and appreciated. I do thank her for her kindness and courtesies at that time with hopefully resolving this matter completely.
