The periodic rate hikes are ridiculous and numerous. I left because I was being forced to pay 4x the market rate. And was told by a district manager that the market rate for new customers is different than the market rate for existing, loyal customers. Quite the (short sighted) business model/racket.

YOU NEED TO READ THIS BEFORE SIGNING UP: The gates have been broken for months now AND they have confirmed 3 cameras have been broken for months as well. Someone can easily walk into the facility, break a lock, and steal all of your stuff. No cameras to document it either. The manager, Kathy, says she puts the orders in but nobody comes to fix it.

But I love the staff and never any nasty bugs or animals, which is awesome ???? ???? especially having an outdoor unit! And let me add how much I appreciate Kathy ?? she's been there longer than anyone I've encountered, and she is so sweet and knows her customers well ??. And FYI, a new one has been opened up for a few yrs now, closer to me, and I still wouldn't change locations. I can honestly say this location on university is the best! I have been renting here for numerous years now. No real issues till now other than the prices frequently being jacked. My concern now is safety and security. The back gate is frequently broken and unusable. At one point while it was down, they left the front gate wide open for weeks. I have found the sliding door to the climate control building jammed open more than once, unresponsive more than once and completely jammed shut once! There are also frequently suspicious people around the building. I find it concerning but I can’t beat the location and the staff is friendly, courteous and not to blame. I realize this is a company issue. Too busy making money to spend it on good working equipment.

This area of where Cubesmart is located, is a perfect storage of where I can store my stuff. If you are a student, attending Full Sail, this is a good place to store any extra boxes or necessities here. You do get a tour of the facility, and see how you like the storage. You can choose whether you want to store things inside or out. When I need extra boxes, tape, scissors or locks, the employees here in Cubesmart is the best. The manager, Cathy is very nice, kind, wonderful and is able to help me with any problems I had.

Every recent trip to store or retrieve something, we encounter broken gates/doors. Last visit it was the storage building access door, standing wide open. This time, upon exit, the gate stuck one-quarter open. We escaped via the functioning gate, but ...dang! Terrible customer service. Random, hidden fees when the pandemic started- knowing not everyone who uses their facility is able to get their things out of their units due to the pandemic/living out of state/etc. Now that it’s been a year with the pandemic, prices have gone up even more. And with no notice, either. I received a card in the mail telling me the price was increasing AFTER it already increased and had to be paid. What a JOKE. Can’t forget the $2 “convenience” fee just to pay your overpriced bill every month. Yes, so convenient of them to take more of peoples’ money in any way they can. Don’t waste your time or your money.

Very easy online reservation and contact-less setup. Just went straight to reserved unit which had lock purchased during reservation. An email provided the access code and unit #. The place is very clean and new looking. Decided to buy the moving kit and mattress covers at the onsite office, which was cheaper than buying on amazon. Kathy was very friendly and answered all our questions in person and over email.

The move in was painless. The manager I spoke to was very kind and welcoming. Made sure I saw the unit before I signed anything and was accommodating when the unit i requested was too small. Even found me a good deal on a bigger unit and was very thorough in explaining that the price would go up significantly at the start of the next month and when I would need to move out by in order to not pay for an extra month. My items were kept safe and I was satisfied.

Always feels pretty clean and my grandmother's storage units inside are never dusty despite the open fencing on the ceiling. There are always large flatbed carts available for use as well.

Kathy Sampson, the mgr at the University&Forsyth location was very helpful and became more of a friend during this long process. The service was slow. There was dog poop all in front of my unit and in it. I ask them to clean it. They didn't Clean it I had to clean it.they also charge an extra $12. For ins witch is a rip off. You wanted my review you got it!

So far my experience with the company is limited bc I am new customer. However the experience has been excellent. The facility is must clean and well kept. Certainly better than most places. Kathy is a sweet person as well. My only wish so far is the company (as a whole) would offer btt discounts for the 1st month since there is a one time fee. Still the indoor climate controlled unit is still a little bit cheaper then competitors.

The experience of getting a storage unit was very simple and straight-forward. The man working there was able to help me find the right storage unit for my needs quickly and without much hassle. The staff was courteous and knowledgable of their facility.

Good facility and a good location. Have a "renter's insurance" policy in place before getting a spot. It would also be good to have a lock beforehand, although their prices for locks isn't too bad.
