We were rented a spot for a 37' motorhome. We couldn't get around another trailer to take our motorhome out. Another trailer parked behind us and we would have to parrell park a motorhome! We were denied a refund. We finally got the motorhome out and was only parked at Cubesmart for 5 days. We called the District manager 7 times and he never called us back! We eventually received a call from the store manager and they gave us a partial refund, but we were charged $150 for the 5 days we were there!

I have been renting out a locker out of this storage facility that is not very cleanly to see a stack of trash that seems that swept right in front of my unit and a non alive roach! Now if you are going to sweep fulfill that because I expected better than this from the two ladies in the office aka general manager & manager or assistant manager let’s do better now I am going to escalate this establishment as a concern of well disgusting business. So disappointing.. Let’s do better OFFICE staff…Attached are some images of what I am speaking about! Beware! Now also there is a screw on the ground with that pile that I or anyone could have step on and gone through shoes now I am not sure if the was done intentionally or on accident because it is in front of my unit..Hmmm

After a year of my original price continuing to go up I switched to another company to store my business equipment. They claimed I had 25 percent off the price but the price online currently for the exact same unit was $67 less so how I’m paying $67 more when I’m getting 25 percent off makes zero sense. They said if I moved my stuff to a new unit number I could get the price advertised so I moved my stuff to a new unit number at new facility ????

There is an open part above the unit that allows wild animals to enter the unit . A car got inside and urinated all over everything . Couches chairs and boxes ruined from excessive urine . It was disgusting . Run don’t even think about it

CubeSmart is excellent, but that is "the-half-of-it." Any company is a direct reflection of its management, especially the company's voice, which is the STAFF! Over the years, I have rented multiple storage units of every configuration at the 4309 Erlich Rd. location in Tampa, Florida. I recently needed to ship a large framed photograph and ran short on time after visiting multiple print & ship centers which could not get the piece packaged securely in time to ship out the same day. Thinking fast, I thought of my trusty CubeSmart facility because they also have an incredible array of packing materials! I entered the rental office with the four-foot-wide framed piece when I was greeted by Christina, the General Manager and Field Training Specialist. She expertly helped me consult with the materials I needed and get this…she helped me wrap the artwork and box it up in plenty of time to return to a shipping center to send out with time to spare!! She totally went WAY out of her way and all with a supporting attitude! Now that’s a true customer experience for me! Need I say more? Way to go, Christina and CubeSmart - (4309 Erich Rd., Tampa)!

We were led to believe that we had reserved the unit that we looked at - 10' wide and 5' deep by the door. We went back a few days later to set up an account starting the first of the month. We were assigned a different unit that was supposed to be the same. I even asked to make sure it was 10' x 5'. It turned out to be 5' x 10'. We were able to transfer to another 10'x5' unit but not right by a door. We then had to go through the set-up process all over again. Too much miscommunication!

The professionalism of the manager Jb at this facility far surpassed expectations and that which you would receive at any other facility. I was driving a 26 foot truck from Minnesota to Florida and i needed to unload the truck on Memorial Day. After talking with a few other storage places i was concerned about CubeSmart being open on Memorial Day and having the unit I had reserved available for me. I called a couiple of times in advance and spoke with Jo the General Manager. He assured me he would be there on Memorial Day and that my unit would be ready. I arrived at the facility 15 minutes before opening time and Jo was there and he let me in to get started on the paperwork. Jo was very helpful and the paperwork was breeze - he then led me back to my unit which was exactly what I was looking for. So far Iam very impressed with this CubeSmart location. UPDATE - like many other reviewers have commented, Cubesmart signifcantly raised my monthly rate about 6 months into the lease. Just know when you sign up with them they will raise your rates

Jb was the Best!!! I have been a long term customer of this CubeSmart. I had an issue that I lost my keys to the 2 units I have had for years. After I bought 2 new locks he drilled out the old locks. Then he suggested that I consolidate everything from the 2 units into a regular 100 sf unit instead of the 2 individual 50 sf units therefore saving me money. He is personable and very reasonable.

They raised the price from $85 to $160, and revised the lease aggrement so they can raise the price as high as they want without informing you before hand. They also have the right to go through your stuff at any given time without your knowledge. DO NOT RENT A STORAGE UNIT FROM HERE!!!

If only I could give zero stars and warn everyone against ever using this facility. I’ve been fighting with these people since March. I’ve had a storage unit there for 2 years. My property has been destroyed by rodents. I informed them immediately when I discovered the damage. They (Charles) came out and took pictures and then I never heard another word. I called countless times only to be told the manager (Matt) wasn’t in or not working that day. I even went to the district manager who then had Matt call me. After playing phone tag for weeks, Matt tells me “Well your unit is in the back by the woods...” and all I need to do is file an insurance claim. I do so and the insurance company says they don’t cover rodent damage. So I’ve now paid to store ruined property for 7 months while they gave me the runaround. Save yourself. Save your property. Save your time and sanity. Stay as far away from this place as possible.

I've moved alot over the years, and have rented many a storage unit. This is my first time getting a cubesmart unit (erlich rd location), though, and I must say they have earned a customer for life. The location is great, the prices are low (just shop around!) and the facility is secure and clean. What I think really sets them apart for me is the customer service I get. Everyone is super friendly, genuinely helpful, and downright creative in helping me get my needs met (they even have a box truck on-site that you can use for free! ask em!) I Have dealt with Bob, Matt, and Charles in my visits to my unit, and I would consider all 3 my friends (if only for the short time i've been at this location) They actually care about me and my needs and concerns. this would be great service at any business, but at a self storage facitlity, this is unheard of! Could not be more impressed with this place.

So i call there today because somebody took off the arm for the gate, it was open all night, but there automated phone service sucks, never got to talk to anybody, i feel like its not secure if i have to deal with that

Honestly, I don't do reviews at all but whenever I feel like I was jipped on some money then im going to take some time to make sure others don't fall for the same thing I did. I saw that CubeSmart was one of the cheapest online, when I was actively searching for units to store stuff. Online they said that that it would be 91$ a month, without my military discount and it said half off when you go in and sign up. Don't be tricked by this online advertisements, contact them and talk to them because there is a lot of hidden things they do not tell you online. 1. You have to buy a certain lock for the unit, that they sell for 12$. Can get at Wal-Mart for 7$. 2. they make you get insurance on the unit, even if you decline the insurance. That is another 12$. 3. whenever I did sign up that day it ended up costing me 104$ when it should have been at most 50$. So please research the storage units very carefully before getting it.

As soon as walked through the door, Matt made me feel like I was right at home. He was a great guy. The property is nice and I feel safe at all hours of the day. The selling point was Matt's friendly face.

We asked for storage for our RV and got excellent information. When we visited at CubeSmart we were assured to a nice place for our motorhome. When we dropped the motorhome the paper work was handled as fast as possible. Matt phoned for us to get a taxi and we left complety assured that or motorhome was in safe hands until May 2017.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The day we were moving our stuff in was an easy process. We saw that they had a truck available to be used so I contacted the office to try and reserve it but someone had already had it reserved. The office called me back after the person cancelled and I was able to get all my stuff in and really appreciated the fact that they called us to make that truck available for our use.

Excellent service. I had a urgent need and I was taken out immediately to see a unit that met my needs. Price was fair and loved that it was month to month contract. Only negative was that I had to use a barrel lock (apparently the only kind allowed) and purchased from them for additional $12. Had my items in storage within 30 minutes.
