*DON'T COME HERE* BUSINESS PRACTICES INCLUDE: EXTORTION, GRAND THEFT, INTIMIDATION, ABUSE OF POWER, ETC I am in a legal battle because this company is literally extorting me, committing grand theft of everything I own! 1. Even though I am the second contact - which depending on who u ask doesn't mean anything to them, but its the only option, and according to OPD, sheriff does mean something 2. even though they got a video of the first contact giving me full authorization (with ID confirmation from the same employee/manager who threatened and did call the police on me) it still meant nothing to them. Actually, it took ironically after another payment was due before I even heard back 3. I called the office & corporate re my situation of not having the keys, told too bad and i actually paid $200+ monthly since january until July After patiently waiting to recieve the keys to our storage unit. 4. Which all meant nothing bc when asking the manager about why my lock won't open & asking her for help, literally handing her the keys was the worst thing i could've done...... she says the lock was drilled and calls the police on me 5. For no reason.....bc even the sheriff told them to let me in..... 6. I've now paid another month & being told I need additional documentation that will take more than 3 weeks meaning I will have to pay next 1 maybe 2, 3 who knows how many more months (they already received $1600, not to mention the expenses of having to purchase clothing/furniture/bedding/bath&body products/etc because everything is being held hostage and im forced to replace what I can while on a fixed income) Sorry for the rant. People need to know about the illegal business practices happening at cube smart in Pine Hills and how complicit the district manager Richard & corporate are by continuing to demand payment while refusing service or return of my life!

The people who run the day to day operations and handle the phones are extremely rude and difficult to deal with for absolutely no reason I can find. The owner seems nice and gets things done but he is not there running the place or answering the phones they are. Every time I have to call and speak to them I dread it because I know I'm about to be spoken to in an extremely disrespectfully manner and treated as if I'm the one being rude for making a simple request. They never want to assist, always say everything is going to take a very long time to correct and always want me to come in to deal with the problem whenever it could easily be handled on the phone. Sir I don't need "Wowing" just simple manners and common courtesy.

This place had rats or a mouse eating at our stuff in the storage. We had to clean out poop from our things when we were moving out. It wasn’t worth it. It wasn’t worth the price increase that occurred 6 months after our rental started. We also did not enjoy not having any lighting whenever we were inside our unit. This just made it hard to see anything in the storage without a flash light. We moved to a better company. This unit has all The improvements. No animals. Cleaner. Lights. Worth the higher cost of renting. Love the EXTRA Storage.

I've had a lot of fluke issues/mistakes/miscommunications at this location, but the biggest notes for prospective customers are: 1) Many cubesmarts offer a truck when you move in, this place doesn't. 2) Many cubesmarts offer a dolly to help you load/unload your stuff, this place doesn't. It was explained that this is because this is an "older" unit, it doesn't have those sorts of amenities. My story: I booked what was the only 10x20 air conditioned unit I could find online prior to an out of state move. When I arrived, late on a Saturday I discovered the unit should not have been available to rent, it was filled with items from an abandoned tenant. For the inconvenience I was offered my first two months rent-free. The options they did have available were two air conditioned 10x10 units, or a non-climate controlled 10x30. I messed up, and picked the 10x30 and had my movers move in (they thought it would be difficult to fit things in the two 10x10s). I regretted the decision and reached back out the next day, asking for the next 10x20 that opened up. I was told that one had in fact just opened up, so I hired a set of movers to move us from one unit to the other. It was at this point, where we wanted to move from one unit to another that we realized the unit does not offer dollys or a truck, both of which would've been handy. $500 and four hours of labor later, we realized it was actually a 10x15, not a 10x20, and not all of this stuff was going to fit in the new unit. I put a lock on the both units, texted that I'd be dealing with it another day and came home, exhausted. I returned two weeks later, wanting to avoid being double booked for units and found the lock to my garage unit's lock had been cut. A miscommunication or something, I had never had that unit actually registered. I'm glad I returned when I did, because if I had waited much longer I probably would've just lost what was left in the unconditioned unit. I also went from having two months free to one month free, as the employee who offered that "did not have the authority to offer that." Everyone I've talked to has been very respectful but mistakes and miscommunications have made for a rocky start.

The employee who assisted me from the first day till the end of my rental was SUPERB! I don't remember her name, however she went on and above her Cube Smart duties to make each encounter a pleasant experience! Also each time I spoke to someone, they had a thorough answer for me! Great customer service but they have dead rats all over the units which the insurance that they make you pay for does not cover the loss you items that the rats have chewed and I believe died from as a result of what ever poison they are feeding them. I'm not sure why this Google link was sent to me before they had the district manager to call me personally. Do not leave anything here that you value, maybe just some gym equipment or a vehicle.

Great customer service, at N. Pine Hills Rd Location in Orlando Florida. The Managers: -Marva Daniels -Kia McCrimson These ladies are great! They were extremely knowledgeable, great attidude when i was frustrated and confused about an issue. Overall great demeanor with customers.

I have only been in my unit for 3 months and mice have already gotten in and chewed through my furniture ruining it. The manager said that there is nothing that can be done to rectify the situation other than me having to go through the pain of moving everything to another unit myself. Insurance does not cover the damage so monetarily there is nothing that can be done other than issue a credit. Unless you want you're items destroyed with I would avoid here.

I am very unhappy with the the arrangement ,I will be moving to another storage company after the month is over you led me on thinking I'm paying $84 a month when it went to $101 because your MAKING me get your insurance that should be an option I have insurance, you guys don't understand people have other things like mortgages and vehicle

The customer service was terrible! The woman at this location (Juanita) or something like that was rude and disrespectful. She was very unprofessional and used profanity when I called to deal with an issue with my card. I went online to make my payment, of course, but I don't understand how this place is in business with unqualified people cursing at their customers. Unbelievable. Don't store your things here!

I Have been a customer since 2010,recently i got behind in my storage and I called and I talked with Teela Gillens the general manager to see if I could pay a portion of my storage so I wouldn't lose it to auction she refused to help me, so I had to call the district manager to get help with not losing my storage,in the end Richard helped me and I was told Teela could have helped me.I would just like to say Teela needs more training with dealing with customer and being more professional. Also when I asked her for the district managers number she act like she didn't want to give it to me,it took everything in me not to tell Teela were she could go.

UPDATE FROM MY PREVIOUS REVIEWS. I WENT BACK TO MY STORAGE UNIT TO NOTICE AGAIN MORE RAT DROPPINGS, I WILL POST UP PICS WHEN I GO BACK THIS WEEKEND. THE LAST TIME I HAD TO THROW AWAY SOME OF OUR WEDDING STUFF THAT WE WAS SAVING FOR MEMORIES BECAUSE THERE WAS A MOUSE IN IT. GETTING TIRED OF THIS. ITS TIME TO MOVE MY STUFF OUT OF THERE. PLUS THE STORAGE FEES GOES UP, RECIEVED A MAIL FROM CUBESMART THE OTHER DAY. NOT WORTH IT. I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE BECAUSE THEY BEEN COURTEOUS TO ME SO FAR. BUT ITS NOT WORTH THE MONEY TO STORE THINGS THERE BECAUSE YOU MIGHT HAVE TO THROW SOME OF THE STUFF OUT. PLUS PEOPLE NEED TO STOP STORING FOOD IN THEIR STORAGE THAT WOULD HELP A GREAT DEAL, COMMON SENSE Ive had my storage unit for over 2 years with them. Everything was fine until just recently I noticed rat droppings all in the hallway. when I got to my storage unit opened it up and it was filled with rat dropping. All of the chair cushions, head board with the leather stinks. When I say something the only thing that could be said is" we can call truly nolen for you". This place used to be great 2 years ago clean nice presentable. But now its not being taking care of like before. I will start the process of contacting corporate and demanding a change. Update on what happened to my storage situation: Teela gave me a call and tried to correct the situation. I could tell she was sincere and I know its not facilities fault that people are bringing in food to store in their storage (who does that, I think people are getting more stupid and no common sense anymore) She offered to spray the storage unit through truly nolen. but I didn't carryout with it because that wouldn't stop mices if people r still storing food in their units. But Teela did what she could do and was very kind and I kind of feel sorry for her because their is so much a company can do to please customers because people are only looking for free stuff while other people are working very hard to put a roof over their heads. I'm just waiting now to hear what they will do reinburst my time and some of our wedding designs we had to throw away. If not I'm still impress with cubesmart and their 2 employees on how they contacted me and tried to resolve my problems

I am not complaining about the store mgr. But I have to wait outside to be assisted a lot I do not understand why they do not have someone to man the desk also. I had to come in to make a payment at the mgt request intoldnthem I'd be cutting it close because I had to work this day but once I arrived no one was in the office this made me late for work. I will not be using cube smart again.

The restroom is a burden to use. Its always lock and its far from a certain unit specially if you have kids with you additional to it you must go beg for the key. The pad to type number in need to be replaced or work on. Its moving as you dialing and you have to push the numbers very hardfor it to work. Another thing if you are a single parent kids are not welcome. When making reservation at time to confirm they don't tell about the free truck rental unless you find out on your own. The vibe really dont make me as a customer feel welcome.

Tella is "WOW"!!! I used this facility for few months until my stuff needed to be shipped to NY. The day of the pick up of my belongins from a delivery company I had a problem. I asked Teela for help and she did it!! She saved me. She helped me like nobody else. Without her help I wouldn't have my shipment ready and I had to cacht a fly the same day...thanks to Teela everything was done. She tooked the time and effort and made possible for me to leave on time at the airport. I can't thank her enough: THANKS A LOT TEELA!! I'M SO GLAD I USED cube smart in this location: Teela the best manager ever!!!

Teela was a great help to me. She has great customer service skills. She answered all of my questions, she even carried my boxes to my car for me because I am handicapped. She drove me to my storage unit on her golf cart, so I would know exactly where it was.

I accidentally put the wrong date in for my move in date on my online order. It worried me, but the Customer Service Rep I spoke to on the phone calmed me down by letting me know my unit was reserved, and I could move in today. Sorry I don't remember her name, but she was great. Upon going into your store the office staff (Patty,Evie, and Tila) made my experience seamless. From showing me the unit,explaining my lease,my insurance options, and overall friendliness this staff was excellent. I actually stayed 30 minutes after my purchase talking with the staff.
