Not a bad place just needs maintained better and cleaned up. Staff is helpful and responsive when you do have issue. Parked our RV there had issues when we left on trips with other tenants parking in our spot when we returned this made it hard to get ours parked. Had to park in someone else’s spot which isn’t fair. I have had a storage room at the CubeSmart on Orange Ave. for about 5 years. I do not know how they do it but it is always SUPER CLEAN inside. I haven't seen 1 single bug inside the building in the 5 years I have been there. Also, the staff there are the friendliest people you will ever meet! I have to say that the manager (Sherry Mayo) and one of her staff members (Dalma) are always smiling and always asking if they can do anything to help. Super nice Air Conditioned storage facility with awesome and caring employees! I recommend 110%.

Multiple units had water bugs. Several neighboring unit renters complained of the water bugs. I paid for a climate controlled unit that remained very hot. I paid extra for an air conditioned unit because I live in Florida and yet the unit was extremely hot. My boxes were all damp from the humidity. My belongings were covered in white dust which an employee told me was insulation. The units are overpriced for terrible maintenance. I had a second unit at a different storage company and that facility was immaculate and air conditioned properly.

50% rate increase in last 1.5 years. Grass around car was never cut, as a result car was basically sitting in a weed forest absolutely crawling with ants. Storm (No, not hurricane Ian. Clearly happened before Ian) destroyed car cover - no one called to give me a heads up. As a result car is now water damaged. $156 a month for an uncovered strip of grass, no one is monitoring - oh and by the way since I’ve been back in Orlando (4 weeks) the gate has been broken. It’s wide open - so “secure” storage is a misnomer at best. Stay away from this place; unless you like ineptitude and laziness. Then in that case this is perfect.

*Conroy Rd Location* Rented a truck from here and it was supposed to open at 9:30 (sign on door even says opens at 9:30). At 9:50 the first employee rolled in with her chick-fil-a breakfast and not one apology for making multiple customers wait. Employee #2 came in shortly after with a smile yet no apology. So this must be a normal occurrence there. Just know that if time of your rental pick up is important to your schedule you may need to go elsewhere (or put in your chick-fil-a order so at least you’d get a chicken biscuit since you won’t get an apology).

CubeSmart Self Storage is convenient as theybare close to home, and their units are well kept. However the first time I rented from them they said insurance was mandatory as well as the purchase of their lock, neither of which were true. The leasing person didn't know all the details. I rented from them a second time, as my son and his family moved in with me, and both times they raised the rent for the rental before the 6 month time period.

No Mapping and Hidden Fees. These are our main complaints. If you go online you only see the cost, tax, and a one time $24 Administrative fee. So, okay then you have one amount in mind that they say you will pay at check out, then you have to wait for a call that then they say oh wait you also have to pay an insurance fee of $12 minimum. Okay so now we add the amount of the unit, plus tax, plus Admin fee, plus the "insurance fee". That is not professional. To put the cherry on the sundae, when you go into the storage buildings area, there is no mapping provided, so how do you know where your going? "Figure it out", that is how we felt, we had to split and open doors with no proper signage to "figure it out". I believe that what I am complaining about is reasonable. We will be changing locations as soon as we can. Never rent/purchase anything in a hurry, because then you get this.

Over the three years we had an air conditioned unit, everything was well maintained and protected even through the hurricane! I do want to leave to leave my car at this storage. I am a sixty four yeAr old senior and the staff were leaving for the night i had been stranding waiting on the bus for about thirty minutes after leaving my car in their storage. There street was all dug up due to construction. When they came out i asked them for a ride two blocks to better my chances to catch a bus and to sit on a bench and wait. They told me NO! I want my money back. I do not want to leave my car with them. They do not care about people they only care about money.

I was quoted a rate online, $39.95, with a 15% OFF incentive (making it $34.95) thats what made me choose cubesmart. The following month my rent went up over $20 then what I was told. The price only should of went a little higher because of my insurance (only $12) I had added on after. The $39.95, supposedly was the 15% off price later stated to me on my first bill, which ended up being $52.95 with insurance (OUTSIDE UNIT) not $46.95 with insurance ( $34.95 + $12 insurance). When I made my reservation for the deal I saw online over the phone, the gentleman I spoke with specifically said it would be $10 more than the admin fee, $24, I had to pay at my lease signing thats why I chose them. I have a unit at Public Storage double the size paid $1 for first month ( INDOOR CLIMATE CONTROLLED UNIT) and after a month with them the rate actually went down in price from $66 to $50 (which includes a high insurance rate). PUBLIC STORAGE HAS BEEN AROUND LONGER FOR A REASON AND HAS BETTER RATES AND CUSTOMER TREATMENT (WITH ONE LATE FEE TAKEN OFF A YEAR IF YOU HAPPEN TO MISS YOUR DATE BY CHANCE). NEVER AGAIN WILL I STORE WITH CUBESMART AS THEY CANT SEEM TO STICK TO THEIR QUOTED PRICE SINCE CORPORATE AND LOCATION DONT SEEM TO BE ON THE SAME PAGE WITH PRICING. I WILL NOT SUPPORT OR SUGGEST THEM FOR ANY FUTURE BUSINESS WITH MY FRIENDS AND CLIENTS. I NEVER HAVE WRITTEN A REVIEW AND BECAUSE IM SO UPSET I FELT THIS WAS NECESSARY. I NOW WILL BE DRIVING FROM NYC BACK TO ORLANDO TO REMOVE MY THINGS FROM CUBESMART ON HOFFENER ROAD AND CONWAY ROAD WHICH WILL INCONVENIENCE ME AND MY WORK. VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER. SHARDAI A. The service it's exellent, fast, and the prices are good too. I called the toll free number, and they found me an unit for the same day. The manager, Olivia, was really kind, and professional. I stored my car with them, and she even called a taxi for me for my ride back home.

Extremely patient and was attended to quickly, employee made sure to take us out to the unit we were going to buy first to make sure we approved of the unit and to make sure there was nothing wrong with it! Very friendly!

Very courteous staff. Clean place. Need more waiting room sitting options and probably one more golf cart. I would also advise them as a company to be very up front with fees and taxes. When i reserved this storage via the toll free number, they gave me one price, when i got the location to sign paperwork, they surprised me with another price because fees and taxes were not part of the info provided when reserved. Other than that, satisfied with this place.

After moving here from the west coast, I needed a place to store my furniture and my motorcycle until I found the right place to move. Khamini was helpful with helping me find the right size for my needs. The storage unit was very clean and if I needed to go late at night to return my motorcycle the place was well lit. I always felt very safe no matter what time I went. After finally finding a place to live, I even got to use the truck for a small fee to move my things out. If I need storage again, I will definitely use this CubeSmart.

Needed to get a storage the very same day, I went online and reserved it. Within 30mins I received a call welcoming me and asking me if I had any questions. When I arrived the staff opened the door everybody said Hello and gave me their names. I dealt with the manager Kay she was so nice and really patient. I'm usually the kind of person that expects bad customer service its amazing how when the staff is so nice you are almost uncomfortable. Great staff, nice storage unit and good prices. I would definitely recommend them.
