They hike their prices for loyal customers so they can lower new customer prices and sucker people in. Then they'll just hike those people's prices too. UPDATE: I took the cubesmart commenters advice and I've called 16 times today so far to get a hold of the store manager and no one will answer the phone. I also just looked at my invoice and noticed that it says I'm supposed to be getting a 35% discount but haven't been. So I guess I'll be going back and checking every invoice in my email to see how long I haven't been getting my discount. If Google would let me add photos to this review Id add the screenshot of how many times I've called and the shady invoice where I'm not getting my discount. It's obvious that they check the reviews and reply to them to have the appearance that they care but they clearly won't be doing anything to remedy this if they won't even answer the phone during business hours. I've had a unit here since the beginning of 2020 and they have raised their prices every year. I started out paying $55 a month and it now costs $105. And of course what can I do except pay it? I RV fulltime so I don't have anywhere to put the stuff and am usually across the country every time I receive one of their cute little white 'price hike' mail flyers. It's not a temp controlled unit and as far as I know Pasco county hasn't raised property taxes exorbitantly so why exactly am I paying TWICE what I signed up for? I hate this place and wish I'd just donated everything I owned rather than leave it here.

These units are dumb... they're triangular shaped. They list them as 5x15 but give you a 5x5x15 triangle. The guy tried to tell me the square footage inside was the same. No... I have a unit in another state that is 5x5 and was much bigger than the 5x15 triangle. So he told us we needed to get a bigger unit... 60 dollars more a month. Had we known this and not had the uhaul packed and it being so late, we would have gone elsewhere. We are not happy at all. It's clear they are NOT the same square footage. You can try that with someone else not so great in math. You couldn't even fit a couch in that sucker, tbh. No thanks. Wish we could have gone elsewhere but we're stuck

Very unhelpful!!! We had a situation that involved more than basic customer service, it took an intelligent mind & some "thinking outside the box" type skills. Needless to say, there never was a resolution & I have lost $6,000+ in storage fees as well as an entire storage locker full of personal effects. This business is comfortable with partaking in fraud when it lines their pockets but then suddenly wants to adhere to the "rules" when it's not for their profits.

I like the place to store belongings, but the website shows one price at $40 for a 5×10, and it didn't read no climate control. Then there are hidden fees. $29.00 administrative and $12 for insurance. Went it 2x's to put my stuff and it seems a little too warm when it suppose to be climate control.

Good customer service and a very clean facility. The only issue I had was that there's nothing to hold the door open and it slammed shut every time we tried to take something in. There are also no lights in the units which made it a little difficult but not terribly difficult. It's a newer facility so it's very nice. One feature I loved was that it's large enough in the parking area to turn around with a truck and trailer. That's very handy

I did the setup online to avoid the counter hassle, all of this went great and was a smooth process. I got a 7.5x15 unit for a great discount as it was an online offer. I got to the unit and assumed a place called “cubesmart” would have rectangular/square units however when I opened my unit it was a triangle which will make for some of the space to be unusable for storage purposes. Even the map I received made the unit out to be a rectangle. It was definitely a letdown after having such a great experience to start.

The problem with this place is access and communication. One should have access to their things 24/7/365. I rented this place to store things while I built a house. Once I closed and was ready to move, the access code to the climate Controlled area had been changed but I was not notified. So... I was there at my unit, unable to get in. I called the number to the place and got a recording that told me to leave a mesage and someone would get with me. It's been hours and no one has called me yet.We wasted 40 minutes of valuable time trying to get into the unit. Now... that said... I called the corporate 800 number and reached someone EXTREMELY helpful. Otherwise, it would've been a lesser rating!

We have 2 storage units with you....upon our last visit to our small storage unit which contained only a washer and dryer and tv and a tire we noticed rat droppings all inside our unit. Our big unit is full of spiders.....we were told the units get treated along outer perimeter but now we are going to have to let off a bomb in our big one and put rat traps in our small unit.

I visited the SR52 facility in Hudson, got a price for a 5x10 unit, didn't like it. Went to the Fulton Ave. facility in Hudson (much bigger, not crowded), got the same size unit for $18 less per month. Not a good sign. The details of the rental are that there is an admin. fee, of course, not refundable like a deposit. Insurance is mandatory, which is fine because it was only $1.75 per month. What outraged me was the $10.75 admin. fee every month they charge for the insurance. Is that even legal?

Beware of hidden cost. When I was looking into storage units, it was the best price in town but I asked the man on the phone if there was any hidden cost, he replied “no”. I went to there storage unit n the guy told me about a $10 charge is added for insurance unless I have rental insurance n I could use that, now he could have told me that but choose to leave that out. He messed up on computer and deleted everything he put in once we were done after 45 min. N had to re enter everything we just did. We paid 3mos ahead to get 4th free. Rented it feb 3rd. I went in there to storage unit on June 14th n a red lock was on it. Thinking I paid 4 mos n fifth free. I went into office and the women told me no you paid 3 mos n 4th free. I understood that the charge doubled cause of being late, but told the lady it was my daughters unit n I was gonna let her know of charges for her to pay. Well on the 16th they though another $50 late fee on the bill. I feel if the lady would have told me that when I walked into the office that we would have been charged that another $50 for lock out charges, I would have paid it then n there n my daughter could have paid me, to avoid the additional late fees. They women couldn’t care less about her customers. All they are out for is ur money.

If you are making a decision on a storage issue USE THESE PEOPLE. When we arrived in FL we had relied on our broker to find us temporary housing until we found a home as promised.. Homeless in an area we did not know compete with a large moving truck full of our possessions. The first night there was a shooting next door when someone has killed a car with guns. No injuries or deaths. We told the woman at AAA and she said she would see what she could for us. She called one person, Fred, who confirmed what it was we needed .He said had no owners that met the criteria but he would check around and call us if we was successful. About an hour later he called back- he found a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, condo in a security building with a total view of Hudson Bay. We are on the fourth floor with a total white water view of the bay. I always thought you had to die to get to heaven but I was wrong. On top of this it comes complete with dishes, linens, housewares sheet, towels- you name it. He also charges us less that the going rate to help out even more. I have never such met an angel before but he is one in my eyes. I so need to pay this forward. Since we have been in Florida we have met so any positive people that are friendly, and from all around the world but mostly from the upper east coast. We have had some issues with buying a house but should the luck of the Irish be with me today we are finally closing today or tomorrow. None of this would have happened if we had not come tho AAA. Excellent monthly rates and welcoming office staff. When I booked online, Susan called me right back and when I went in to sign the paperwork Mark showed me the unit (I had a choice of two in my requested size) and he had me fill out the paperwork. Easy as could be. We move in this weekend.

Previously have had no issues here. Recently experienced rude, no class service. Women working even told me not to get "shitty" with her and wouldn't even put one piece of tape on the package to ship without charging me labor.... Customer service is obviously not important to their management. Never go here!! These people hire classless trash with bad attitudes.
