When you store your things at our Manhattan CubeSmart location at 444 W 55th St, we’ll pick you and your things up for free with our Storage Shuttle‡. Once you have completed your storage unit rental, you can arrange for your ride by calling 1-866-NYC-CUBE.

What fits in the free CubeSmart Storage Shuttle?

CubeSmart Storage Shuttle dimensions are 68″ high x 68″ wide x 77″ deep. You can fit about the same number of things in the shuttle as you could store in a 5’x10′ storage unit.

Items that will fit in a CubeSmart Storage Shuttle:

  • 8-10 large tubs
  • 10-20 medium boxes
  • Small appliances (microwaves, toasters, etc)
  • Small electrical items (lamps, fans, etc)
  • Bicycles, skateboards, sporting equipment

Free CubeSmart Storage Shuttle FAQ

Yes. While the free CubeSmart Storage Shuttle offers one-way rides to or from the 444 W 55th St location, we do not offer round trip shuttle services. And riders are limited to a one-way trip within a 24-hour period. For details call 1-866-NYC-CUBE.

Please ensure that you schedule the shuttle in advance and have a mode of transportation back from your storage unit. If you need a ride from storage, with some of your things, to your home, please be sure to arrange travel to your unit.

You may only schedule one shuttle service in a 24-hour period. Please ensure that you have transportation for the trip back to your home or the trip to the 444 W 55th St location depending on your choice off drop off location.

No. The free CubeSmart Storage Shuttle only provides service to and from the the 444 W 55th St location. However, depending on your location, you may be eligible to use the NYC Free Move-in Truck and Driver service.

You may bring one additional passenger on your trip to help you move your things. Passengers must be over the age of 18 to ride in the free CubeSmart Storage Shuttle. Unless you have a service animal, pets and animals are not permitted in the shuttle. Please make pet sitting arrangements for your furry friends if you need to schedule a ride.

No. The shuttle driver, along with other CubeSmart employees, can’t assist with loading and unloading of personal items. Please be sure to arrange for one additional passenger for help if you need assistance loading and unloading items.
