Or you\u2019re ready to turn your\ndining room into an inviting spot for dinner parties? Whatever your reason for\nthat big declutter session, here\u2019s how to organize rooms if they\u2019re currently \u201cfilled\nto the brim.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What to Keep and What to Toss <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Probably the trickiest part of organizing a room full\nof stuff, is working out what to keep and what to throw away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Start by organizing your belongings into keep, donate,\nstore, and throw away piles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Keep:<\/strong> Anything you want to keep can be put aside to\nreintroduce to the room later. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Donate:<\/strong> Grab a trash bag or a large box to house all those\nitems you want to drop off at your nearest Goodwill or Salvation Army. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Storage<\/strong>: Move anything you want to keep but don\u2019t have space for into a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cubesmart.com\/storage\/\">storage unit near you<\/a>. Can you pocket a few extra dollars by\nselling them on? That money could be put towards sprucing up the room! <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Donate Any Good Items <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You likely\nhave some belongings that someone else can get more use from. Those curling tongs you never got the hang of or that set\nof dumbbells you\u2019ve used once or twice can finally be enjoyed by someone else! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\nmay feel easier to throw things away. But donating any items you have lying\naround is better for the environment and the money made from them goes to good\ncauses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If\nanything is damaged or doesn\u2019t work properly, what have you been holding on to\nit for? It\u2019s garbage, taking up valuable space, and not donatable. Only donate\nlightly used or items in good condition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Get Boxes <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Boxes are great for categorizing smaller items, giving\nyou a dedicated space to move things to for sorting later.
